Nvidia shares tank 9% ahead of Trump tariffs, exports probe woes

Shares of Nvidia Corp., once the most valued company in the world, fell another 9% on Monday, March 3, after US President Donald Trump confirmed that tariffs on Canada and Mexico will take effect on Tuesday.
Once boasting of a market capitalisation in excess of $3 trillion, Monday’s slide wiped out another $265 billion from the company’s overall value, taking it down to $2.79 trillion. Nvidia shares have slumped 13% since the chipmaker reported earnings last week.
