Apple is reportedly in discussions with Google to introduce Rich Communication Services (RCS) messaging to Indian mobile users this year, according to a report by The Economic Times.
This collaboration could extend Apple’s exclusive blue bubble iMessage service, currently exclusive to Apple devices, to Android as well. The move has the potential to disrupt India’s business communication landscape, which is still heavily reliant on traditional SMS, despite WhatsApp’s growing dominance.
