India’s telecom sector added 1.9 million subscribers in April 2025, continuing its post-tariff hike recovery, according to the latest data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Thursday.
This marks the fifth straight month of growth following SIM consolidation in the second half of 2024, when the industry lost a cumulative 21.9 million subscribers between July and November.
