India slightly ahead of Pakistan in nuclear arsenal and missile tech, China expanding rapidly: SIPRI Report

India has expanded its nuclear weapons inventory and improved missile technologies, outpacing Pakistan, Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) noted in its latest Yearbook 2025 report.
The SIPRI report also outlines India’s strategic attention towards China, and how regional powers are accelerating nuclear modernisation as arms control norms weaken.
