Amazon opens 5 new warehouses the size of 10 cricket grounds ahead of Prime Day 2025

Amazon India is ramping up capacity of its warehouses and logistics hubs ahead of Prime Day from July 12 to 14. In the build up to the prime day, Amazon has commissioned five new Fulfilment Centres in the country with a combined capacity of 1.8 million cubic feet — that’s the size of 10 cricket grounds.

This fresh push for warehousing capacity, includes the very first Amazon Fulfilment Centres in Indore, Bhubaneswar, Kochi and Rajpura. The fifth one has been opened in the Delhi NCR region.
