The Indian government is closely monitoring the return of Chinese employees from electronics manufacturing units in the country, including key suppliers to Apple like Foxconn, sources told CNBC-TV18.
While no formal restriction has been announced by Beijing, multiple Chinese workers, many in critical roles, have reportedly been asked to return home.
Sources said the Centre is “seized of the issue” and is open to working with the industry to explore solutions such as identifying and training local talent or relocating expertise from other countries…
