X hikes Premium+ prices in India even as it slashes other subscription tiers

Elon Musk’s social media platform X (formerly Twitter) has raised the price of its Premium+ subscription in India, even as it slashed rates for its lower tiers to boost adoption in one of the world’s largest internet markets.
The Basic plan on the web is now available for ₹170 per month or ₹1,700 annually, a 30% cut from the earlier ₹244/month or ₹2,591/year. The Premium tier is down 34% to ₹427/month or ₹4,272/year.
