OpenAI CEO Sam Altman expressed concerns about young people’s over-reliance on ChatGPT, describing it as “bad and dangerous.”
Speaking at a Federal Reserve forum, Altman said some teenagers treat ChatGPT as a best friend, life coach, and decision-maker. He said such trust may lead to passive decision-making and diminished personal judgment.
