CM Bhagwant Mann introduces the 16 startups chosen for the IMPunjab Cohort

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the launch of the first cohort of the IMPunjab (Innovation Mission Punjab) accelerator programme. The cohort includes 16 startups from Punjab.

The IMPunjab accelerator is a sector-agnostic programme that will provide INR 3 lakh in experimental capital to 16 startups. The accelerator will provide guidance and mentorship to the selected startups for three months before presenting them to investors at a demo day in the second week of December. “All startups will participate in the accelerator programme for approximately three months.” So, three months will be dedicated support, followed by handholding support. “The specific agenda of handholding here is fundraising and connecting startups with investors,” said Abhishek Purohit, head of the IMPunjab accelerator programme.
