Airtel users across India hit by major outage, services disrupted

Telecom major Bharti Airtel on Monday faced a widespread outage, leaving thousands of subscribers unable to make calls or access mobile data services.
According to outage-tracking platform Downdetector, complaints began spiking around 3 pm and peaked at over 3,600 reports by 4.29 pm. Typically, Airtel’s baseline reports remain in the low double digits, highlighting the scale of the disruption.
Data showed that 74% of users reported issues with calling, 15% flagged a complete lack of signal, and 11% faced problems with mobile internet.
