Apple plots three years of major iPhone redesigns, starting with slimmer ‘iPhone Air’

Apple Inc. is preparing its most ambitious iPhone roadmap in years, with three consecutive redesigns planned between 2025 and 2027 — including a thinner iPhone Air, the company’s first foldable iPhone, and a radically new anniversary model — Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported in his Power On newsletter.

The overhaul kicks off this September with the iPhone 17 lineup, headlined by the debut of the iPhone Air, a slimmer and lighter replacement for the iPhone 16 Plus.
