Anthropic unveils Claude AI agent for Chrome browser

Anthropic has begun testing a new browser-based artificial intelligence (AI) assistant called Claude for Chrome, the company announced on Tuesday. This early version is being rolled out to 1,000 users on its Max plan, which costs between $100 and $200 per month.

The company has also invited interested users to join a waiting list to try out the tool.
