ChatGPT restored after brief global outage

ChatGPT experienced an outage earlier today, September 3, impacting users worldwide, including those in India. According to outage-tracking platform Downdetector, the disruption peaked around 12:44 pm, with more than 500 users in India reporting issues.

Hundreds of complaints were also filed from other countries within minutes. While some users said the service was functioning normally, many reported network errors on both the website and mobile app.
