It’s challenging to dismiss Microsoft’s presence in the generative AI sector, despite recent reports claiming that its extensive AI efforts have been rendered futile and that there’s virtually nobody finding any use for its offerings, such as Copilot. The tech giant has made elaborate measures to leverage its massive Windows operating system market share to push its AI agenda. There are even future plans to evolve the operating system into an agentic platform.
