KKR to invest $250 million in Mukesh Ambani’s retail unit

Global investment firm KKR & Co will invest an additional $249.19 million in Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd, bringing its total equity stake to 1.42%. Reliance Retail, headed by Ambani’s daughter Isha, has been expanding rapidly and making acquisitions to compete with global rivals in India’s retail sector.
