Blockit AI, a startup founded by Kais Khimji, a former partner at US-based venture capital (VC) firm Sequoia, has raised $5 million in a seed funding round, the company said on Friday.
The round was led by Pat Grady of Sequoia. Other investors include San Francisco-based early-stage venture fund Haystack; Adjacent, which focuses on next-generation technology startups; and Original, an investment firm supporting early- and growth-stage companies. Jeff Weiner, former CEO of LinkedIn, also participated in the round.
