The Sleep Company began by producing mattresses using smart grid technology, which was later patented. The startup intends to use the funds to expand its omnichannel presence, strengthen its brand, and accelerate penetration in Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Apart from mattresses, The Sleep Company has since expanded its product line to include pillows, cushions, sheets, and smart-grid chairs.
