Baker and Baker signed an exclusive distributor agreement with UAE’s La Marquise International

European bakery business Baker and Baker signed an exclusive distributor agreement with UAE’s La Marquise International as part of its Middle East expansion.

The move comes on the heels of the company’s previous entry into Dubai, where it opened an office and hired a sales team last year. The Wirral-based company, which sells bakery products in seven countries, plans to expand further in the Middle East over the next 18 months through distributor agreements. Through its distributor network, the company already supplies products to Saudi Arabia and Israel. According to the company, Baker and Baker will initially launch its American Sweet Bakery range, which includes donuts and muffins, in the UAE, adding that more product lines will be introduced in its new market soon.
