Cognizant asks US court to axe Infosys suit for ‘no proof’

Cognizant Technology Solutions has requested a US court to dismiss all counterclaims made by Infosys alleging it fails to point to any factual allegations to establish any of their claims including monopolisation and anticompetitive effect, in its latest response in the eight-month-old court battle between two IT giants.
The court filing dated April 14, points towards a lack of clarity in Infosys’ arguments about which software and services are part of the competitive landscape, failing to explain who the real competitors are and that most arguments…
