Consumer body issues notices to e-commerce platforms for illegal sale of wireless devices

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has initiated action against the listing and sale of walkie-talkies on e-commerce platforms without proper frequency disclosure, licensing information, or Equipment Type Approval (ETA), which constitutes a violation of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
