India not ready to take on China’s share of iPhone manufacturing: Report

Apple is considering raising the prices of its next iPhone lineup but is steering clear of attributing any potential hike to US tariffs on Chinese-made goods, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal, which adds that India, considered a viable alternative for Apple as an iPhone-manufacturing hub, currently lacks the wherewithal to absorb China’s share.
