Festive season expected to see shipments by ecommerce companies, online sellers surge 27% to Rs 1.2 lakh crore: Report

Ecommerce companies and online sellers are expected to ship goods worth Rs 1.2 lakh crore this festive season, marking a 27% increase from about Rs 94,800 crore last year, according to data from market research firm Datum Intelligence.
Quick commerce is projected to account for Rs 14,010 in sales in 2025 in terms of net order value (NOV), the report added. NOV is the gross order value (GOV) minus discounts offered by brands/sellers/banks or the platform.
