Go Digit receives fresh Rs 15 crore GST show cause notice

Insurance startup Go Digit General Insurance has received a demand-cum-show cause notice from the goods and services tax (GST) authority seeking around Rs 15 crore in unpaid taxes, along with applicable interest and penalties.
In a stock exchange filing on Wednesday, the Fairfax-backed company said the demand amounts to Rs 14.99 crore, with interest and a potential penalty of up to 25% of the disputed amount also applicable.
