Robots Learn To Handle High-Voltage EV Batteries Thanks To Circu Li-ion

Luxembourg cleantech Circu Li-ion has demonstrated a system capable of teaching a robot to disassemble high-voltage Electric Vehicle (EV) batteries at its facility in Luxembourg.

For the Eureka-funded Project LAMBDA, Circu Li-ion joined forces with AICA and the Swiss Battery Technology Center (SBTC) to teach an industrial Kuka robot how to perform this complex task with a human-like sense of touch.
