Wipro posts 26% jump in Q4 net profit to Rs 3,570 crore

Wipro‘s net profit for the fourth quarter rose nearly 26% from a year earlier and 6.4% sequentially, helped by currency gains and a fall in sales and marketing expenses, but the worsening global economic uncertainty amid the tariff war has weighed on its revenue growth and forecast.

India’s fourth largest software services exporter posted a net profit of ₹3,570 crore for the quarter ended March 31, in line with analyst estimates tracked by ET. Revenue rose 1.3% from a year earlier to ₹22,504 crore. In dollar terms, Wipro missed its own guidance…
