Samsung may make Perplexity AI its default assistant on Galaxy S26 series

Samsung is in advanced talks to invest in Perplexity AI and bring the startup’s AI-powered search features to its smartphones, according to a report by Bloomberg.

If the deal goes through, it could shake up the way Samsung users search, browse, and interact with their devices — and loosen the company’s reliance on Google in the process.
