Coming up in Dholera, country homes for fab expats

Electronics and semiconductor companies from Japan and Taiwan are considering the establishment of country-specific housing corridors in Dholera, Gujarat, to provide a familiar environment and modern amenities to their employees working on the Tata Group project that’s building India’s first chip fabrication unit.

Japan’s Tokyo Electron Ltd (TEL) and Taiwan’s PSMC, both of which are partners in the upcoming fab in Dholera, are said to be among those considering exclusive housing facilities for their expat employees.
