Quick commerce reshapes festive shopping with idols, sweets, puja essentials

Quick-commerce platforms are emerging as the go-to option for festival-time puja essentials like idols, hawan materials, Indian sweets and mandir decoration, with Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and Bigbasket offering curated sections to reshape consumer habits.
The ‘spiritual commerce’ segment on quick commerce is clocking around Rs 800-900-crore sales annually, covering puja and festive essentials as well as festive gifting. In September, it almost touched Rs 100 crore, and analysts expect it to rise further in the run-up to Diwali.
