Ronnie Screwvala-led Upgrad has appointed Amitabh Kant, former G20 Sherpa of India, to its board as an independent non-executive director.
Kant’s appointment comes as the higher-education and upskilling company ramps up its global expansion plans. It also coincides with UpGrad’s plan for a potential public listing within the next 18 months.
