IBM plans to skill 5 million Indians by 2030

IBM plans to train five million people across India in technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and quantum computing by 2030, the company said on Friday. Globally, it has committed to skilling 30 million.

“India possesses the talent and ambition to lead the world in AI and quantum computing. Fluency in frontier technologies will define economic competitiveness, scientific progress, and societal transformation,” said Arvind Krishna, Chairman and CEO of IBM.
