IDC expects average PC prices to jump by up to 8% in 2026 due to crushing memory shortages — some vendors already selling pre-builts without RAM

IT market research and data analytics firm IDC released an update on the global memory crisis, offering new forecast numbers as the more companies hike memory chip prices.
