Not leaving Kerala, will open three new offices: BYJU’S

Edtech BYJU’S has stated that it will not exit Kerala and will instead strengthen its presence in the state in the future.

On October 26, media reports indicated that BYJU’S, which is located in the Carnival building in Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram, was planning to close its doors. Many of its employees, fearful of layoffs, met with Kerala Labour Minister V Sivankutty, who said the state government would launch an investigation into the alleged layoffs. The labour department then called a meeting to try to reach an agreement. “Recent reports regarding BYJU’s operations in Kerala are far from accurate,” a company spokesperson said.
