US chipmaker AMD inaugurates its largest global design centre, the AMD Technostar campus, in Bengaluru. The campus, part of the company’s $400 million investment in India, will host nearly 3,000 engineers focused on semiconductor technology development. It will serve as a centre of excellence for high-performance CPUs, data centre and gaming GPUs, and embedded devices.
