AI skilling and capability building will determine India’s competitive edge, says KPMG’s Akhilesh Tuteja

India’s growing push to become a global artificial intelligence hub will depend as much on talent and capability creation as on the billions of dollars being committed by global technology giants, according to Akhilesh Tuteja, Partner at KPMG in India.

Speaking to CNBC-TV18, he said that while large capital commitments by Amazon and Microsoft are important, India’s real competitive edge will come from how quickly its workforce can be trained to build and apply AI solutions.
