Anti-fraud drive cuts cybercrime losses by nearly 69%: Airtel

Bharti Airtel on Tuesday said its anti-fraud initiatives have led to a sharp drop in cybercrime complaints, citing data from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

According to I4C, financial losses linked to cybercrime on the Airtel network fell 68.7%, while overall incidents dropped 14.3% between September 2024 and June 2025. The decline comes after Airtel rolled out its AI-powered fraud and spam detection solution last year.
