Beauty segment accounts for 20% of Myntra’s new customers: Nandita Sinha

Online fashion retailer Myntra’s beauty segment has become a growth driver for the platform, accounting for most units sold and about 20% of new customers coming to its website, chief executive Nandita Sinha told ET in a conversation.
About 60% of the shoppers in the beauty segment were from the Gen Z cohort as of November, Sinha added. “Gen Z consumers are really picking up beauty and self care,” she said. I think this is fuelling industry growth, and this is what we are capitalising on.”
