Bike taxis: Karnataka HC expresses displeasure over govt not taking call on policy

The Karnataka High Court on Thursday expressed displeasure over the state government dragging its feet over deciding on a policy for bike taxi operations even after a month.

A division bench consisting of chief justice Vibhu Bakhru and justice CM Joshi said it was inclined to pass a full-fledged stay at this stage. The bench said it gave a month’s time for the government to come up with a policy for bike taxi riders, but nothing had been done.
