Can AI force a rethink on cybersecurity hiring?

A new study by Stanford University researchers shows that an artificial intelligence (AI) security agent can compete with (and sometimes beat) experienced human hackers.
The researchers tested an AI system called ARTEMIS against 10 carefully selected cybersecurity professionals. In the experiment, ARTEMIS came second overall and was able to spot security weaknesses that some humans missed while working on several problems at the same time.
