Cognizant breaks ground for 8,000-seat campus in Vizag; to invest Rs 1,583 crore

IT services major Cognizant held a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday for its new 8,000-seat campus in Visakhapatnam, in the presence of Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, marking an expansion of its presence in India.

The proposed campus announced earlier this year, in June, is located in Kapuluppada, IT Hills, and will be completed in three phases by 2033, with a total investment of Rs 1,583 crore.
