Deeptech startup EyeROV bags Rs 47 crore order from Indian Navy

The Indian Navy has signed a Rs 47 crore contract with Kochi-based startup EyeROV for the supply of advanced Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles (UWROVs).

UWROVs are robotic machines designed to explore, inspect, and operate in underwater environments where conventional tools such as cameras and lights are difficult to use. EyeROV’s Trout model, a 300-metre ROV, can deep-dive and is equipped with advanced payloads to carry out missions such as underwater surveillance, the company said in a statement.
