Entrepreneur magazine publisher sues Meta over AI training

The owner of business magazine Entrepreneur sued Meta Platforms in California federal court on Thursday for allegedly misusing its work to train the tech company’s artificial intelligence systems. Entrepreneur Media said in the lawsuit that Meta copied its business strategy books, professional development guides and other instructional materials to train its Llama large language models to generate competing content.

Spokespeople for Meta did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
