Farmers must get quality inputs; industry has a key to play, says Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday stressed the need for integrated farming for holdings under one hectare, along with greater value addition, diversification into fisheries and cattle rearing, and stricter regulation of bio-inputs. Speaking at the PHDCCI Agribusiness Summit 2025, Chouhan also underlined the need for balanced fertiliser use to prevent soil degradation and protect the prosperity of future generations.
