Former British PM Rishi Sunak cleared for part-time advisory roles at Microsoft, Anthropic, with caveats

A little over a year after leaving office, former UK prime minister Rishi Sunak has taken up advisory roles at Microsoft and Anthropic. The Indian-origin Tory politician will be a part-time senior advisor to the two companies.
The UK’s Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (Acoba), an independent public body sponsored by the Cabinet Office, has issued guidelines for Sunak to follow to ensure his employers do not get a competitive advantage.
