Indian businesses lag in AI security, 81% lack effective monitoring: Survey

About 81% of Indian enterprises do not have effective tracking and monitoring for artificial intelligence (AI) systems in place, while 50-51% report no ability to detect or control AI hallucinations, according to a new survey.

Conducted by consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal, the survey assessed maturity across six areas, namely AI adoption, governance, responsible AI, secure development, deployment, and incident response via an anonymous questionnaire across BFSI, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail sectors.
