Meta AI app’s daily users jump to 2.7 million after Vibes launch

Meta AI’s mobile app has witnessed an increase in daily active users across iOS and Android, reaching 2.7 million as of October 17 compared to 7,75,000 users four weeks ago.
A TechCrunch analysis of data by market intelligence provider Similarweb on Monday indicated that Meta AI’s app installs have surged to 3,00,000 per day versus less than 2,00,000 a few weeks ago.
The report added that the sharp rise could be because of the launch of the new Vibes feed in September, featuring short AI-generated videos.
