Netflix ups bet on AI to drive content, ads despite industry unease

Online streaming platform Netflix said in a recent letter to investors that it sees a “significant opportunity” in using generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) to benefit its subscribers, creators, and advertisers.

“We’re empowering creators with a broad set of GenAI tools to help them achieve their visions and deliver even more impactful titles for members,” Netflix said in the letter to investors after its third quarter results.
