‘Never been more embarrassed’: Lawyer cites fake cases in AI-aided response to SC

In a shocking incident, a lawyer filed a response in the Supreme Court (SC) with the help of AI tools which cited hundreds of fake cases that were not in any judicial record, according to a report by the Times of India.
Senior advocate CA Sundaram, who was representing Deepak Raheja, a promoter of Gstaad Hotels, Bengaluru, said he had “never been more embarrassed”, admitting his mistake.
