Artificial intelligence chipmaker Nvidia welcomed Google’s push to expand its market share, even as it asserted its own leadership in the segment.

Reports suggested that Google is planning to market its Tensor processing units (TPUs) to external parties for AI computing, after exclusively using them in-house till now. The Gemini AI parent is looking to capture 10% of Nvidia’s business, which is currently the dominant player in the space.
