Paytm revenue rises 24%; to focus on merchants, AI, & loyalty: CEO Vijay Shekar Sharma

One 97 Communications, which runs the digital payments major Paytm, has reported a steady uptick in business with operating revenue rising 24% to Rs 2,061 crore, up from Rs 1,659 crore a year back.

The company reported a profit before tax of Rs 221 crore. However, an impairment of Rs 190 crore on its gaming business, coupled with tax payouts, saw its net profit shrivelling to Rs 21 crore, a 97% fall from its September FY25 figure.
