Researchers discover nanomaterial that stimulates brain cells without surgery

Researchers at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST) have discovered a nanomaterial, graphitic carbon nitride (g-C₃N₄), that can stimulate brain cells non-invasively. Unlike existing treatments for brain disorders that require surgery or external devices, this biocompatible nanomaterial interacts directly with the brain’s own electrical activity.
